Psycho 2 and Stormy Monday are the only things of interest. Nice cheap(ish) round of announcements

steady now... you can't really substantiate that with any evidence.

PS Tim Lucas hinted strongly that a region B of Kill Baby Kill would happen so i'd hold off buying the Kino at least for a few months yet.

Let's say in Bubs defence that Arrow have diversified their catalogue in recent years with more mainstream releases and it certainly seems that Arrow have given up on the likes of Italian cinema without any scrutiny.

Personally i don't think they've given up at all it's just they release a lot more variety nowadays and a lot more product full stop. The gialli are just part of a diverse portfolio.

there's also a lot more competition for titles now.

the biggest shift i've noticed with arrow is the concentration on limited editions.

I'd rather more patience and time spent with the Italian releases. Both 88 and shameless have been stung with dodgy transfers in the past. A bit of selectivity doesn't hurt. Look at phenomena, turned round and seemed to have one upped synapse which is no mean feat (caveat being let's see the finished product). As for kill baby kill, given everything Bava related Arrow has stuck out with the exception of Bay of blood has been better I'll wait.

Nothing in these new titles for me, unfortunately.

I own all I want/need from that selection and have never been a fan of the Psycho sequels. I do like Pulse and may upgrade my DVD to the Blu-ray release when the price is right.

I still think Arrow are a fantastic label who release plenty I'm interested in. I'll be picking up Psycho 2, Nekromantic 2, Pulse and I'm quite interested in Stormy Monday.
