"The Slip Case

The Slip Case is a printed cardboard cover designed to enclose your CD Jewel case, DVD Case, Digipak or Digifile. It has an opening at one end and can incorporate various die-cuts for easy access to contents.

O-Card

The O-Card is a Slip Case with an opening at both ends. Both the O-Card and Slipcase can be used to package multiple disc sets or single cases and packs and make you product feel a little more exclusive."

Box implies thick card board to me, so while technically they are the same thing I would differentiate by saying for example, Phenomena, The House Collection, Videodrome etc, Slipbox but the old white windowed ones, Slipcase

This is what it's come to on a Tuesday morning on Cult-Labs

But you can also get a matchbook, with paper matches that you have to tear out and a matchbox with wooden matches that you can shake when doing magic tricks

Maybe a slipbook is for single disc releases, a slipcase is for double disc releases and a slipbox is for anything Arrow releases that costs ££lots!

An 'O' Card would be just the single sheet of paper/card that is slipped inside the slipcase - i.e. the original Arrow 'Bride Of Re-Animator' release

You're probably thinking of a J-Card there.

If we had true gender and sexual equality, this wouldn't happen, but maybe a 'J' card is designed for films that appeal to males, while the 'O' card is for films that appeal to females
