If you like films that are highly surrealistic then its worth a go. I'd compare it to films like Valerie and her week of wonders.

I hope the thing comes in a 5ft by 5ft container complete with actual snow, a husky and a crate of J&B. A flamethrower and an old computer to play chess on would also be nice.

Nah, they'll overestimate demand and make 100,000 copies meaning it will be still be in HMV's 3 for £20 offer 16 years later.

It's on the US Anchor Bay Entertainment Season of the Witch DVD and, from memory, you're not missing much.

I really rate the other two, particularly The Crazies.

I recently read a George Romero critical review book and in an interview he said that There's Always Vanilla was a bit of a disaster and wasn't the film he started to make by the end.

Again, relying on memory from a few years ago, but that is something borne out by the viewing experience.
