I don't know if this will mean the same for you, and even if you have the capacity to play Region A BDs, but I prefer commentary tracks and featurettes, of which there are many more on the Shout! Factory release. I know it has a 2K scan and not a new 4K one, but it's a very impressive picture.

I can see the point of digipacks for multi-disc release (not that I'm a fan), I just think it's weird for 1 disc. It also stems from the fact that not everyone takes care of their things, and harder when it's basically just a piece of cardboard. The amount of digipacks I've seen in CEX that are in tatters. I wouldn't want somethig like that if they were giving it away .

From what I can tell speaking to people online scream factorys appears to be a 2k scan of the inter-positive which is one step away from the negative. Arrows is 4k and direct from the negative itself. Unless arrow really drop a bollock it should look better and have a bit more detail. It's like the difference between the two versions of nightmare city. I'll be double dipping for screams extras. I'll be getting Arrows for the film itself unless as i said at the start and arrow balls it up in some way.

Is that not just a placeholder on Amazon, was it not about £20 on arrows store? But either way it still all smells of greed.

Me I'll just stick with my shout factory version, and maybe pick up when it gets a amaray release and some reviews.

Maybe this is the 'way forward' for Arrow films

They're doing the same thing with 'Shock Treatment', aren't they?
