Many of my favourite films are things that I'd never heard of before someone recommended them to me. Or I discovered them buried in the middle of Scala triple bills (where I may have specifically paid to see the other two, but I had to watch everything otherwise I wouldn't get my two quid's worth).

I have just had the following e-mail:

"Hi Susan,

This is an email to let you know that your recent Order on www.arrowfilms.com may soon experience a World Pay payment fail.

This is not your fault – we had a slight glitch on our site that meant that it was not 100% set up for the way it should take pre-order payments. On the point of order, it took an ‘authorisation’ token on your card that should have lasted up to 6 months to allow for payment to be taken on dispatch. However, it seems that this was set to 8-10 days instead, so whereas payments on pre-orders within this timeframe worked ok, all orders that had more than 10 days between order and payment / dispatch have recently ‘failed’.

This issue has now been fixed, but it does require you to Update your payment details on your Order for DER TODESKING.

Please visit www.arrowfilms.com and refresh the site in your browser. Then login and navigate to your order on the MY ACCOUNT section. You should now be able to see the following options - Update Shipping Details, Update Payment Details and Cancel Order.

If you go to Update Payment Details, this should now allow for you to re-enter your card details and the order will be processed as normal, and we guarantee you will only be charged once for this order.

I assume it's genuine and not a spam one, but to be on the safe side, I went to the site and updated my payment details. However, I DID NOT follow the link in the e-mail, but went to the site via my bookmarks to do this
