Dorado doesn't sound promising, maybe they should have called the company Atlantis or Mary Celeste.

Sorry B.E.
I definitely need to borrow the keys to your drinks cabinet at some point, nos.

The title just keeps having its release date pushed farther and farther back and they only ship when your entire order is in stock. Dorado have been really sketchy about the release too constantly promising updates or saying that it is near completion to suddenly u-turn or make excuses as to why there is a further delay. To say it's getting a bit beyond a joke now is putting it mildly.
I've had most of my stuff as I pre ordered direct from Dorado once they adjusted their stupidly complicated website. So I've had Eurocrime and Franco volume 1.. I didn't order volume 2 Franco set due to the issues with the Larraz double but like an idiot I gave them cash for the western blu they're doing

They say issues with the negatives for the Larraz titles but I don't know what to believe. .

I'm not as sophisticated as Dem and the whisky connoisseurs. Monkey see, monkey drink.

I have a multi-region player so, in theory, it would be able to play the 'Region A' version with the cockfighting.
It sounds as though that is the case. But does the DVD version offer both cut and uncut versions of the film too?

It’s a shame because the actual scene is a visual pun, juxtaposing schoolboys fighting against the fathers cheering on a cockfight.
You couldn't run the same test on the DVD version as well could you?

I'd love to see a good quality uncut release of that one. I don't think it would get cut by the BBFC either these days.

DVDs don’t have the technology to do branching so I don’t think it’s going to have both versions on it. It’s also a lot cheaper to master 2 versions of a DVD. I’ll check after work though.
