I’ve only seen Waterworld once at the cinema, not in any rush to see it again so I’ll probably wait for a price drop, same goes for Elvira which isn’t worth full price IMO

It's another film where it's all done for real, no CGI here. That's why it cost so much at the time. All the sets were built on the ocean.

If we did a post apoc TTT it would be my number one comfortably.
Interesting to read. Your opinion is very different to one of my friends who fell asleep at the cinema and said that when he woke up it didn't seem as if he'd missed much.

I thought there had been a post-apocalyptic week, but if not maybe it'll be better to wait until this has been released and I've had a chance to watch it!

Blade Runner would have been top, however i'm not really convinced it's a dystopian future. Just the future. The same goes for Gattaca, another which might have made my top 10.

If it was that long ago, it's overdue another go because there have been some really good films released in the last couple of years: War for the Planet of the Apes (and the others in that recent trilogy), A Quiet Place, Blade Runner 2049 and 10 Cloverfield Lane.

The biggest recommendation i can give Waterworld is to say that if i was BD compatible i'd definitely buy this new Arrow release.

But i'm not. So i won't.

I'm already buying something i can't play in Powerhouse's Night of the Demon.

Waterworld is a mixed bag of a film. There are some great moments and some cool ideas and funny lines. Problem is there's a lot of bad things about it, most of which involves Kevin Costner and his ego.

Can't say I'm interested in seeing the film again, let alone different cuts of it.

However that feature length documentary I'm very keen on and surprised people aren't interested in that.
I mean hey we all hated that 90's doctor moreau film yet because of it's problems I wanted to watch the documentary.

Having looked at reviews today, it does sound like something which is likely to have been unfairly criticised and, since I really like Dances with Wolves, I'm unlikely to be disappointed.

I really like it. I think it was unfairly criticized, along with Costner’s other bottom-numbing 3hr film, The Postman.

Mate a massive Waterworld fan. So much that he has intrigued me . I've never seen it. I gave up with Costner after The Untouchables ....
