A new postcard reveals that Cruising is on the way. That's exciting enough, but it potentially means an Arrow-Warner deal has been reached.

I love Cruising. I’ll certainly pick this up as soon as it comes out

I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Apparently Freidkin reached out wanting Arrow to release it, much in the same way Oliver Stone did with Twilight Time and Heaven & Earth.

I know Shout have a deal with Warner for some titles, but this could just be a one-off.

That seems to be speculation at this point, based on an old tweet from Fran Simeoni. As far as I'm aware, no one knows if Friedkin even took them up on the offer, could just be a coincidence. We'll have to wait and see.

the Friedkin connection is probably right for Cruising, but at least Arrow have a toe in the door. perhaps if the sales are good they might be able to wedge it open a bit more...

This is a good pint - Shout! initially dealt with Warner when it was seeking to include the theatrical cut of Nightbreed in the Ltd which led to more Morgan Creek titles before a fully-fledged deal. Little acorns and all that...
