The suggestion that it is Second Sight with the film comes from a podcast from someone / something called 'The Projection Booth'

Didnt Arrow publish a Hitcher mini book a few years ago? Ironic / typical that the film went out on another label.

As for this months release announcements, Daimajin & western set look ok, but nothing jaw-droppingly exciting. As for True Romance, I can file that under "mainstream stuff seen a thousand times before". As usual, it's too mainstream, or too obscure and nothing in the sweet spot.

Didn't they announce Inglourious Basterds 2 years ago? Again, I wouldn't buy it, but is it still happening?

That's probably for the best. The lizard scene in their Deep Red set still annoys me.

I've been told that the Deep Red lizard was actually unharmed (by Troy Howarth on the internet many years ago). He told me that it was wearing a sort of harness with a fake pin, and that it was struggling to remove it rather than dying in pain. No idea if that is actually true.

That's interesting. Troy Howarth does great commentaries as well. He knows his stuff. I also have his 3 giallo books that are really insightful.

I do find animal violence a real problem in arrow releases though. Contamination is one of my favourite Arrow films, but it has an exploding rat/mouse if I'm not mistaken. I also like Slugs, but the sight of a chopped up slug irritates!

Yeah the animal cruelty/uncensored debate splits the masses right up the middle.
Releases should come with the option...

Since I got our Max,I don't think I've watched an uncut Italian cannibal film, even though I own them all in uncut forms.....
