However, I've never seen steelbooks as 'valuable' really. I do like them, and if there is a good film released with some nice artwork in a steel then I'll more than likely buy it. |

They need to include a CD of the soundtrack in this. I would put Bill Wyman and Terry Taylor's Valley Bolero just behind Keith Emerson's Mater Tenebrarum from Inferno as my favourite piece of music from an Argento film.

Also have to agree about the steelbook market being oversaturated. Nice for personal collections and given the option I tend to go for them but I would never advise people to buy stuff with nice covers and ltd print runs as investments. Anyone who went through the comics bubble in the 90's will know what i'm on about. Collect what you enjoy, not what's going to be worth a bunch of money!

Well steelbooks are just a marketing gimmick really. If it's a hald decent film or a decent film what packaging it comes in doesn't really matter. Aren't steelbooks just a way of trying to increase Blu sales?

I used to consider steelbooks collector's items back when they were few and far between. Now damn near anything can be found in a steelbook if you look around. I just get ones that look particularly nice.
