I own it as well, but think I've watched it once – shortly after receiving it in the post – and have absolutely no desire to watch it again.

I've still got this dvd release. Not even entirely sure which one it is. Says Elite Entertainment.

I've got the Arrow dvd in the Romero box set and a freeview dvd-rip somewhere, as such an important film it would be nice to see a pristine transfer of the original 35mm, but unless George opens the can not much chance.

I thought the main issue is nobody wanted to spend the money restoring and releasing a public domain title. At least that's what's been suggested on here before now.

That's the version I have. Strange release this one. The version is the Elite US DVD but with an 18 BBFC cert stamped on the sleeve. Picture is NTSC and disc is multi region. This in my opinion is the best dvd out there for THX picture and extras.
demonknight likes this.

its similar to the elite millenium edition.

Frankly its probably better than any of the Blu-ray releases doing the rounds.

It says that it's available exclusively from DVD Direct.LTD but I bought it from MVC years ago. One of the first DVD's I ever bought.
