It's incredible Melting Man & Nekromantik I am looking forward to most,Although Nightmare City is also good. fingers crossed for this year.

I love Petri, such a great but very underrated filmmaker. Really excited to see L'assassino as it was a blind buy.

Me too. I rarely blind buy now, but on the strength of what I've seen of his other work I decided to take a chance on this one, and highly doubt that I'll be disappointed.

I'm very very pleased with how well it came out - the transfer is gorgeous (it's the same recent Cineteca di Bologna restoration that fuelled the French BD), and I'm so glad we went for the Tonino Guerra documentary.

I ummed and aahed about it for ages, because he barely mentions L'Assassino and doesn't say much more about Petri, but the penny then dropped that he didn't say that much about ANY individual film: it's about his amazing career as a whole. So it might as well go with L'Assassino as with anything.
