My wishes do come true, but at the price of others' (Sorry Stephen)

Reply from Arrow on my facebook comment asking about unpersonalized or regular versions:

"There will be a non-personalised version on Amazon. Future releases are TBC for the moment"

That should cut a nice chunk out of the price, as well as the 15 pound international shipping!

As it's one of my all-time favourite films, I am seriously considering ordering one, but just can't decide on the quote to have on the back! It's the agony of choice.

So,a non-personalised box, probably for around £5 less. Brilliant!

Call me a sucker, but I will likely wait on the non-personalised version before making a decision; so long as it's reasonably priced.

Grrrrrrrr, I don't know what to do! I really do want it, but the price is holding me back. Looking at it, I wouldn't know which quote to get, probably Monty you....., or another sweary one.

Funny thing is Mondo Vision put out a similarly priced LE of Possession, and you barely heard any complaints. Here, you've got "How to get ahead in advertising" as well as Withnail.

They may not do well on this one given that there were previous versions, but personalisation is a nice touch.

Actually, that's a question - will "How to get ahead" be on the standard version at Amazon?

A very poor October line up, especially from a label specialising in the type of films that should be in their element during the month that brings us Halloween. The Incredible Melting Man is diabolical. If I had any interest I’d likely have picked up the Scream Factory release over a year ago, which has been very cheap on numerous occasions. I’m all for UK releases of things not available here, or region locked elsewhere, but I expect better than that during a tent pole month for horror fans.

It sadly feels a little like sloppy, tarted up seconds as far as the Arrow Video line is concerned in October. All have been available prior, and of those I only had an interest in one, The Visitor, which I’m perfectly happy with, and don’t see myself wanting to upgrade (It appears to have a very similar feature list to the US edition, but I haven’t compared).

I am, however, 100% on board for The Naked City. It’s easily the highlight of the month from Arrow’s line up. I don’t imagine it helps that they’re only announcing one month at a time now (Thank you very much all those people complaining of delays!). Hopefully November brings more for me.

I'd say so. Looks like it'll be the same content, just without the personalization.

Is the Super 8 version included on Scream's IMM?
