Limited yes, numbered no.

The general release is the individual discs of the titles. Everything on disc is the same, like the Boro set, but the Booklet has some stuff exclusive.

I think it's limited to 2000?

Not individually numbered, but there won't be any more produced once existing stocks have sold out.

The "general release" versions are the individual discs, which are coming out in February and March - in all cases you're getting identical discs to the ones in the box (pressed from the same masters), but the booklets will mostly only contain a single film essay along the lines of the existing House of Usher and Pit and the Pendulum booklets.

(Update: snap!)

It is indeed limited - due of the book and packaging only. All of the disc content is/will be available separately.

I was like that, I wasn't happy about replacing my VHS collection with DVD, so when Blu Rays came out I was adamant I wouldn't do it again!
That didn't last long though once I was given a player by my ex Wife's mother I soon started replacing the films for a second time and now I'm multi region, I'm gonna end up doing it again for some of my favourites

Sensible, Plasterface. It means you don't have to re-buy everything again.

i prefer dvd/blu combi packs , i dont have a big enough room where i live to get a massive tv so blus dont look that much different on my screen and more friends/family have dvd players so lending them, or taking films around means dvd is mainly my format of choice. Altho i am not too sensible as i have ex rental vhs/dvd /blu rays of my fave films but only upgrade to blu if special extras, better an extra packed dvd to a vanilla blu in my opinion.
