As the video shows, it's done so reflected light will show the title. Gloss title over a matte steelbook presumably.

I think it's called Spot UV printing.

Well it's definitely not on the pictures of the steelbook. I guess only time will tell. But then again, I don't like that art (the art on the back is much better), so really doesn't matter about the title.

Time has already told. Arrow confirmed in a reply on the original announcement post on Facebook that the Steelbook will have a title on the cover, and also included that Video in the reply.

I usually always go for the steelbook as I adore the things,especially arrows. But on this occasion looking at the artwork I too much prefer the amaray this time round so am going with that.


I'll get the Udo Kier Jekyll one at a later date also.

I absolutely love my Criterion blu of Videodrome, yeah it has a few shortcomings in the video department, but it's just the overall package that excites me. With that being said, as this is in my top 5 films of all time I will be getting Arrow's edition as well without a doubt.
