I haven't seen either Body Count or Edge of the Axe, so a decent UK release of either, or preferably both, would be welcomed by me.

Is anyone following the Deep Red discussion on bluray.com ??? I'm seriously shaking my head! All that fuss over a SINGLE FRAME that hasn't been edited out of the film correctly, that's a 1/24th of a second of screen time.

This is on the export version where almost everyone is citing the full length version to be definitive anyway.

It is ridiculous indeed.

The problem with sites like Blu-ray.com is that they tend to attract fans of AV rather than of film, so a lot of people just feel the need to nit-pick every little flaw in every release. Plus, often some people just don't take into account (or just don't understand) the history and type of films when discussing so-called 'flaws'. The amount of times that the topic of inferred out of sync audio or correct audio track comes up whilst discussing post-dubbed euro films is crazy.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm just glad that films like these are being given this kind of deluxe treatment in the first place.
