I thought Obsession was ok, had some good parts and worth a watch. but nothing special. I ended up getting rid of the disc because i wasn't that bothered about it.
I'd watch it again, but in no hurry.

I don't know if it was the lead actor or the fact the film feels like a bad throw back to fifties and sixties melodramas but I was disappointed with the whole thing.
I really like it as a different spin on Hitchcock's Vertigo, with strong performances by the entire cast and some really stylish and inventive camerawork by DePalma.

I'm with Mr. Ouse

It bored me senseless

Luckily I only had the cheapo Arrowdrome release!

Pretty much my thoughts on Obsession too.

It's not my favourite De Palma film but one I enjoy quite a lot.

I also don't have an issue with cover art and actually rather like it!

I enjoyed Obsession as well, but it was a while ago when I watched it and I don't really remember much about it now other than it being a 'Southern' take on Vertigo. Good cast as well.

Yep that's what most De Palma films look like.

Arrow couldn't move the art up just a little, so the bottom of the can wasn't covered by their dumb-ass colour bar? It's the little things like this that bug the shit out of me!

I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it, but now I can't unsee it and it is annoying.

Haha! I like to do my part! It's not really the end of the world, it's just something I would've done if I had been putting together the cover.
