Just checking mine out now and yes it is horrible. Noisy, blown-out whites, smeary in motion, and also in the wrong colourspace. This is no upgrade from my ancient HK DVD of it, Arrow should be ashamed of themselves.

Very useful feedback – I'll stick with my DVD.

DVDBeaver have offered a review of Dark Water. Going by the screencaps, I like the look. Dark Water has always struck me as being an intentionally ugly film so the BD looks about right (although, in motion could be a different story).

Going by the screenshots the grain looks sharp and in focus which leads to believe it was intentionally filmed that way - Brian DePalma's Obssession is filmed that way too. However I've not seen the disc in motion, on the other hand I'm not that bothered about it because J-Horror isn't really my favourite genre either.

On Diabolik's FB page they have said that the HG Lewis Feast set has already come in and been posted out to customers and they expect the Shock and Awe set this week coming.

Guess that means it'll be at least two more weeks for anyone who bought direct then.....

How is this new? It's been out over a year in the UK.
