They're both from the OCN (Suspiria torna al cinema restaurato in 4k per festeggiare i 40 anni - Movieplayer.it), and the TLEFilms restoration used the answer print as a reference. I can imagine the Synapse version having more contrast and saturated colours though, so will be interesting to see them both compared.

In that case, I'd actually prefer if Arrow licensed this one!! I preferred Arrow's colour timing on their Tenebre over Synapse, so an OCN scan coloured using an answer print as reference sounds preferable

i think if they have a lot of money they may do suspiria but i fill rights to have
2k transfers of bird with crystal plumage or opera may be a much cheaper than
have 4k transfer rights to suspiria . It is my opinion and i will happy of any argento release

Suspiria won't happen. If Synapse have the US rights then that's it. Full stop!

Indeed, I've never seen the bird with the crystal plumage look as beautiful as it does in that picture.

Bloody phones playing up! My original message was supposed to say - MR420 you do realise those pictures are from Suspiria and not Bird? The bird in that shot the crystal one does indeed look spectacular though.

It is a picture of a bird with crystal plumage though – I always took that as Argento giving a visual nod to his earlier film.

I assumed he meant the literal bird with the crystal plumage and he wasn't getting confused with the two films

I just take it as granted that if you're on this forum you know the ending of Suspiria perfectly.
