I've figured out that the normal 'special edition' set loses the DVDs, the book and the postcards.

It looks great though, really nice package, but you get these sets, look at them once and put them on the shelf!

I have it on preorder at Amazon, so I'm wondering that myself. If it is a case of the more expensive one having different packaging, a 100 page book and poster, then I'll do the same as you and by the standard version. They are very likely to have exactly the same discs.

As I don't watch DVDs if I have the Blu-ray alternative, I'll probably cancel my pre-order and wait for the standard edition. As nice as the set looks, I don't have shelf space to display it and could do with saving money.

Pieces make sense but I have the Grindhouse Releasing set, which is unlikely to be bettered.
