I've never seen it as a Giallo, I think it falls more into slasher territory myself. Just my opinion.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but I think one of the releases might be Suspiria, mainly because an upcoming screening in Manchester is 'presented by Shameless Screen Entertainment'

But the aforementioned announcements are for Arrow Video not Shameless.

Good shout, that would explain Alan Jones's unconfirmed involvement and all the recent photos of Calum with Dario on Facebook

Ah yeah. Didn't High Rising announce an interview with Argento for an unmentionable upcoming release? And didn't they contribute to a Shameless release in the past in some way (New York Ripper I think?).

I like both very much, but neither pass good to great for me. I'm not one of those of the opinion that Opera was Argento's last good movie, but I very much fall into the camp that it was his last great movie.

I'm glad you replied with some titles though, perhaps I was a little curt in reply and apologies for being so, but it came across as a little rude simply to disagree without adding your opinion as to why to the discussion.

Very much a 'Neo Giallo' for me. Genre naming conventions, eh? How about Black Christmas? Or perhaps we should not open that can of worms either

Nice spot! I'd love to see some more 'Yellow-rays', Shameless' recent output had me wondering if we'd ever see another again. Sadly knowing their limited resources I don't imagine they'd be able to offer anything other than the dreaded 2007 restoration with colour issues. Although I imagine the majority won't mind either way.
