I've not seen Lifeforce yet but that steelbook is lovely. Be ordering that for sure.

I like the film and have the old DVD. I don't love it enough to fork out for a double dip, though, even if that steelbook looks really nice. In general, the price of blu's seems to have risen quite a lot recently and I have to pick and choose my purchases a lot more carefully.

The quality of the dvd is abysmal and it's non-anamorphic. The blu-ray will blow it out of the water.

I wonder what's going on with the Sci-fi double feature they were toying with, and if they've just decided to release them individually.
Cool, my predictions were right!

The Sci-fi double was basically saying that arrow had two sci-fi films coming up, which are this and Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

This is what should be on the reverse of the standard blu-ray (assuming we get one).

I don´t consider passing from DVD to Blu-Ray to be a double dip... it´s an upgrade.

Definitely getting the steelbook and as Stephen said its worth the upgrade as the DVD is really bad quality, blu rays aren't that bad in price if you don't order from amazon there prices for upcoming arrow releases is a joke

Haven't really been on here in a while since Arrow had to start region locking their blu rays. hopefully this summer I can finally get an all region player and start picking up some of these new releases. I still have the Demons and Demons two blu's sitting on a shelf tormenting me. Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone.
Daemonia and PaulD like this.

Good to have you back! Even though Arrow aren't part of the forum anymore they're still releasing some excellent stuff and are well worth keeping an eye on. A region-free player would be a worthy investment I think!

It's a double dip for me because it's the same movie. The ratio, picture/av quality and packaging may be hugely improved but I was just sayin' I didn't love the movie enough to justify buying it again.
