That's odd considering I thought they were meant to be doing dual UK/US releases from now on, and obviously Criterion have the US rights.

They did say that in certain circumstances, they'd still release something in one territory that already had a release if they thought it was worth doing. So I guess Videodrome is one of those rare titles.

Stephen, do you remember the outrage that surrounded Videodrome on its original uk video release (on CIC, IIRC?)?

Looks like Arrow have deleted my post on their page mentioning Tim's comments. Bit pointless with it being all over here, Blu-ray.com and Facebook now.

And would they ship together or seperate?
Zavvi usually good but they dropped the ball on re-animator i ended up cancelling my pre-order and buying it in hmv.

Ahh that's good then, I wasn't keen on the idea of them limiting themselves to things they could only get dual rights to.

They said they have enough UK titles to last through the year

Matters not. I have the Criterion DVD and had it ages. So already have that. Was hovering over the criterion blu for quite a while as an upgrade but no point now. Will keep the DVD for the extra and the lovely packaging and by Arrows Blu when it gets released.

As the funnyman might say...SORTED!
