I had an e-mail newsletter from Arrow today, and it contained this

Because it's not dated, I would use it as a basic guide tho

I was very pleased when Arrow released the Stray Cat Rock box set and I've picked up most of their other Japanese film releases as well.

I wonder whether there is any chance of them releasing any Sonny Chiba films though? I would love to see them release some of Sonny's or Hiroyuki Sanada's films.

It would be great to see films such as Wolfguy: Enraged Lycanthrope, the Yakuza Deka series and the Bodyguard Kiba films released.

I can't believe how little Massacre Gun and Retaliation have sold, it works out at around 900/3000 for each title! Perhaps they should have done a smaller run.

US Bride of Re-Animator is sold out, UK version is sold out on the Arrow store, but still some with retailers. Shouldn't be long until we get it without all the fancy packaging and cut version of the film.

I really don't understand why they would bother with the R-rated cut. I've always like the extra stuff in Arrows Ltd edition packages, however it feels a little like one of those dodgy German 'collectibles' where they pad the package out over numerous discs stuffing as much pointless crap on there as possible. Like that bizarre Dellamorte Dellamore with the 3D version.
