What's a TV ? when I was a lad we had a cardboard box cut a square in it and put our head through and pretend to read the news , well I say news we didn't have a TV or radio so didn't know what news was only what we saw in the papers fluttering around in the wind or last weeks newspaper wrapping from the chippy , well I say chippy it was from the loose scraps we had to beg for at end of the night because we was so poor we couldn't even afford the chippy, kids of today eh never had it so good .

"To mark the birthday of Jacques Rivette, we’re bringing OUT 1 back in stock! The set will have a special discounted pre-order price in place until March 31 so get those orders in!

BACK IN STOCK UK TITLE: Out 1 (Blu-ray)
Pre-order via Arrow: http://bit.ly/2SzKOsL *special pre-order price until March 31*
Release date: June 10

Out 1 is one of the crowning achievements of Jacques Rivette’s remarkable career. Conceived as a television mini-series, this near-thirteen-hour monolith consists of eight feature-length episodes revolving around two theatre troupes, blackmail and conspiracy. Multiple characters introduce multiple plotlines, weaving a rich tapestry across an epic runtime.

Rivette, in many ways the most radical of the French New Wave founders, here presents a film unlike any other, which eschews a script, includes references to Honoré de Balzac and Lewis Carroll, features cameos from Eric Rohmer and Barbet Schroeder, and stars icons from the New Wave including Jean-Pierre Leaud, Juliet Berto, Bulle Ogier, Michael Lonsdale and Bernadette Lafont. Leaud plays a deaf-mute who receives a clue which connects him to a group who may or may not be conspirators in a plot, stories intertwine and identities blur, as Rivette guides us through one of his most hypnotic and dazzling works.

The holy grail of French cinema, Jacques Rivette's magnum opus had been nigh on impossible to see until the new restoration presented here. Screened just once in 1971 as Out 1: Noli me tangere, before being re-edited as as Out 1: Spectre, to acknowledge it's shadow-like nature, both versions are presented in this boxed-set, fully restored and with English subtitles.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
• High Definition Blu-ray (1080p) presentation from 2K restorations of both versions, supervised by cinematographer Pierre-William Glenn
• Original uncompressed mono PCM audio
• Optional English subtitles
• The Mysteries of Paris: Jacques Rivette’s Out 1 Revisited – a feature length documentary by Robert Fischer and Wilfried Reichart containing interviews with actors Bulle Ogier, Michael Lonsdale and Hermine Karagheuz, cinematographer Pierre-William Glenn, assistant director Jean-François Stévenin and producer Stéphane Tchalgadjieff, as well as rare archival interviews with actors Jacques Doniol-Valcroze and Michel Delahaye, and director Jacques Rivette"

NEW UK TITLE: The Annihilators (Blu-ray)
A brash, no-holds-barred slice of vigilante justice from the golden age of B-movie action.
Pre-order in the UK via Arrow: http://bit.ly/2SdLgg4
Release date: May 13
IN VIETNAM THEY FOUGHT FOR THEIR COUNTRY. NOW, THEY’RE FIGHTING FOR THEIR FRIENDS.
As the 1980s rolled on, a new, bullish attitude to war took hold in America, the weary cynicism of the previous decade giving way to an unabashed celebration of military might. Numerous filmmakers and producers sought to capitalise on the emerging mood… among them New World Pictures, the company founded by the legendary Roger Corman.
In The Annihilators, the war comes home as a group of army vets, battle-scarred from their travails in the jungles of Vietnam, are forced to dust off their combat moves once again when one of their own meets his demise at the hands a violent criminal gang. Deciding that enough is enough, the self-styled Annihilators, led by the redoubtable Bill (Christopher Stone, The Howling, Cujo), set out to equip the beleaguered citizens of downtown Atlanta with the skills they need to rid their streets of crime and vice.
Directed by Charles E. Sellier Jr. (Silent Night, Deadly Night) and co-starring Gerrit Graham (Phantom of the Paradise) and Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs (Death Wish), The Annihilators is a brash, no-holds-barred slice of vigilante justice from the golden age of B-movie action.
SPECIAL EDITION CONTENTS
• Brand new 2K restoration from the original 35mm interpostive
• High Definition Blu-ray (1080p) presentation
• Original lossless mono soundtrack
• Optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing
• The New Heat on the Street, a new video interview with actor Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs
• In Search of Charles E. Sellier Jr., a new video interview with filmmaker David O’Malley on the early career of The Annihilators’ director
• Reversible sleeve featuring original and newly commissioned artwork by Graham Humphreys

The Boulevard DVD version was cut by about 2 seconds (A shot of a woman being stabbed just below her bare breasts).I assume this will be restored to the Blu-ray now. I used to own the old VHS which was released in uncut & cut versions with the store robbery scene being heavily cut & the use of a throwing star in the killing of a thug.

So is the Sister Street Fighter Collection coded Region A and B or are there two separate releases for the UK and the USA?
