been picking up a lot of very very cheap dvds in slim line cases by a company called 23rd century can anyone shed any light on them or how many dvds they released. Very dodgy picture quality but label has introduced me to some cool films such as communion and after the fall of new york and all for under a quid.

I brought up 23rd Century and it seems some here think they are dodgy merchants, I do think their discs are pretty much VHS-rips. But I say if you can buy em from a high street shop i.e. Poundshop etc. then fine go to it. Picked up 'After the Fall' for 99p myself. Sure there is a thread here somewhere about em.

Some are taken from old VHS tapes and others - like AFTER THE FALL OF NEW YORK and THE BEYOND - were ripped from the proper DVD releases.
