Plus, it's their first steelbook release too.
I'm up for this. The Anchor Bay release I have, has a foreign title card and the last moments of the film suffer from a very poor picture. Was Odeon's dvd release the same ?

I see Odeon are releasing the spaghetti White Commanche.

I hope it's remastered and looks better than the Mill Creek copies i have.

I'll be getting myself a copy of this as I've never seen it before and I've heard it's one of Pete Walker's best.

I have never seen any of Pete Walker's movies although I have heard good things about Frightmare and this one. Would you recommend House of Mortal Sin? Also should I get the US discs from Redemtion or the Odeon ones?

It's not Walker's best, but it is certainly up there amongst his greatest, so I'd definitely recommend a purchase. No idea what the Odeon disc will be like PQ wise, but I have the Redemption Blu and it is a decent release - it's region A locked though.

Odeon have also released Walker's House of Whipcord which is also worth a watch (I personally prefer it to 'Mortal Sin' but many others would disagree):

Again, it's not one I own (again, I have the Redemption Blu) but generally speaking based on other Odeon titles that I do own, they generally do a very good job in terms of their releases. The main downside is the price point, which tends to be on the high side.

I have two region free blu-ray players and 2 BD-ROMs with lifetime AnyDVD license, so region coding isn't an issue
