Does anyone know if Odeon send you an email once they've dispatched the free DVD. They didn't seem to acknowledge that I asked.

I'm still hoping that Warners will see it in their hearts to tart up Bad Ronald, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark and several others too...
Gargoyles had a lovely R1 release from VCI quite some time back. I don't think it's currently available though. Great film though and I really enjoyed it.

EDIT: Yes, it does seem to be available again, but from Henstooth Video now.

It got reissued by Hen's Tooth but I don't know how it compares to the VCI one. It's an awful lot cheaper though.

good pq and sound and an audio commentary, for my money its a better release than the vci, and as stated cheaper as well.

I haven't seen Gargoyles in years, this is one of those TV movies that I have vivid memories of watching in my youth along with stuff like: The Norliss Tapes, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, Trilogy of Terror, The Night Stalker, etc.

I have three releases of Gergoyles, the VCI one,an Australian dvd & the Japanese double bill with a rougher looking Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.I also have quite a few other TV movies:-
The Possessed (1977) Warner Archive
Dark Night Of The Scarecrow (VCI)
Ants ! aka Panic At Lakewood Manor
Snowbeast
The Norliss Tapes (Quite pricey now)
The Nightstalker / Nightstrangler (Anchor Bay 'flipper')
Summer Of Fear (Wes Craven)
Tarantulas- The Deadly Cargo
Terror From Out Of The Sky (Killer Bees)
Daughter Of Satan (Wild Eye OOP)Not great quality but watchable.
Dead Of Night (1977)('Bobby' is a great chiller the last story)
