Default Anchor Bay UK thread.

I'm a big fan of this label and I am always on the hunt to acquire more. I only have 20 or so titles from the list and I would be greatly appreciative if folks could add to the list of titles I've yet to buy. Here's what I have so far:

The Amicus Box Set
The Beast Must Die
The Coffin Joe Box Set
The Crazies
Dead and Buried
Embodiment Of Evil
The Evil Dead
Evil Speak
Halloween (lenticular)
The Hills Have Eyes
House
Jack The Ripper
The Last House On The Left
The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue
The Long Good Friday
Madman
Mark Of The Devil
Nightmare City
The Norman J Warren Box Set
The Pete Walker Box Set
Razorback
Re-Animator
Scanners
The Sword And The Sorcerer
Vampyres

Over to you folks.

Nobody else here seems to have rushed forward with their complete AB list though.

I don't think I own much ABUK stuff anymore. I used to probably own more ABUS overall, what with some of the UK titles being cut. Also Blue Underground re-released a lot of their stuff in the US so had a lot of their releases instead.

Nowadays, Anchor Bay as a whole is nothing more than a pale shell of it's former self, although more than enough companies have rummaged through their catalogue and picked up the slack.

Here is a list of what I still have from ABUK.

Like you i bought most of their releases via Blue Underground as they were complete.

They just seem to release generic tat nowadays rather than anything specialist.

And lets not forget that around 2004 ABUK titles were a stonking £20 on dvd and I saw some AB on VHS for £19.99 at the time as well, but then HMV did a BOGOF offer making those dvds very attractive at £10 a pop, and the Halloween transfer looked very nice for a low budget late 70s horror (and as I got the 2 disc lenticular job from Woolworths for £2.99 made it all the sweeter) seems such a long time ago tho...

Anchor Bay were the Bees knees back in the day.
Then Starz took over.....run by accountants and not film fans....
