Quick question -
How was the nipple scene from New York Ripper allowed in the documentary? Are documentaries exempt from classification?
If I remember rightly that's the scene cut from the shameless releases right?

Welcome to the wonderful world of censorship..........

See also Argento Master Of Horror, where the effect of the knife through the throat is shown being done, but said shot was not in Opera at the time.

It's due to the context in which it's presented.

Just out of interest, what happened to 'Let Me Die A Woman'?

I thought it was classed as a 'nasty', but the trailer is not included in the section 3 list, and I don't recall it being on the first 'Video Nasty' volume either

It was never a "video nasty".

Why did I think it was classed as a 'nasty'?

Was it one of those "grey" films, similar to 'Xtro' and 'Shogun Assassin', which people think was included on the official list, but actually wasn't

I've now seen this twice and all I can say that it's one of the few sequels that are better than the original. My only gripe is over the Savage Terror review. It's a shame that Jean michael Jarre is dismissed as 'disco' and nothing was mentioned about the rest of the soundtrack. How many cannibal films do you know that ends with Kraftwerk's We Are The Robots? That's just me being picky though, it's a fantastic package and probably THE release of the year as far as I'm concerned. 10/10.

Lots of interesting music is used on the Savage Terror soundtrack - all without permission too, I'm sure.
