Yeah I own both uncut and 'cruelty-free' versions of the Italian cannibal films
although I haven't watched the uncut versions for years.

It's almost as if somewhere in my subconcious something's telling me....'plastic collector if you don't own uncut...'

Just a quick question regarding Eureka's Lugosi set.

What is the alternate cut of Murders in the Rue Morgue like? Is it radically different to the theatrical cut?

Apparently there is only one key change, with the detective Pierre Dupin's first visit to the morgue taking place before his visit to the carnival

Yeah, some of the scenes have been altered around to be in their original order before being re edited.
I think they got most of it right.

Eureka are releasing Johnny Guitar.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Limited Edition Hardbound Slipcase [3000 copies]
1080p presentation on Blu-ray from a 4K restoration of the original film elements, framed in the film’s originally intended aspect ratio of 1.66:1
Brand new commentary by critic Geoff Andrew, author of The Films of Nicholas Ray: The Poet of Nightfall, newly recorded for this release
Brand new video piece by Tony Rayns
Brand new video essay by David Cairns
Brand new interview with Susan Ray
Archival introduction to Johnny Guitar by Martin Scorsese
Trailer
A LIMITED EDITION 60-page collector’s book featuring new essays on the making of Johnny Guitar and on female gunslingers in the western genre, both by western expert Howard Hughes; an essay by Jonathan Rosenbaum; and archival writing and ephemera [3000 copies]

I've never seen this before but always wanted to. It's supposed to be a bit of a car crash of a film which has somehow gained a new reputation as being good.

I posted about that directly above you. It's a fantastic film in my opinion, really exciting! I've already pre-ordered it.
