Wonder why it's on the 'Classics' label instead of the 'Moc' series.....

I was going to do until i realised it wasn't a proper UK quad poster and double sided. Makes it worthless to collectors as it's just basically a reprint and £25 is waaay too overpriced for that.

Plus the house on the poster looks crap.

Ha,ha, sorry. The house was really small on the poster, looked like a tiny cottage not a great dusty mansion. It is after all The Old Dark House.

Normally i'd have been all over the poster like a bee around honey but (see post above)

Can't wait to get the film though.
Justin101 and keirarts like this.

While I can't say i agree on the house comment I completely agree on the price. It's the sort of poster the like of Arrow and heck even 101 regularly include in special edition releases. £25 is absurd in my opinion.

Eureka will release the 1966 feature 'King of Hearts' in a dual format release as part of their revered Masters of Cinema range.

'King of Hearts' is a bright, lilting, whimsical, lyrical comedy that cleverly satirises the absurdity of war. Bumbling Scottish Private Plumpick (Alan Bates) is sent to a village in the beautiful French countryside during World War I on a suicide mission to detonate explosives set by the retreating German army. The village, soon to be blown sky-high, has been abandoned by its inhabitants and replaced with escapees from the local insane asylum. Now, with the mentally challenged running the town, Plumpick is crowned King!

Pre-order available at Amazon UK - £14.99

Bloody Amazon. Old Dark House is out tomorrow but the buggers haven't even despatched my copy yet. So much for prime.
