I don't think it is sold out yet even though the link says so. I think Zavvi made an error and leaked the link early as there was no mention of Fright Night being released on Facebook or Twitter from Eureka and Zavvi.

Eureka only made announcements Tuesday and there was no mention of it.

They must've changed it then, because I had it in my basket earlier, then decided against buying it.
I did check Facebook and there's definitely no mention of it, so it's more than likely a **** up on Zavvi's part

People had successfully pre-ordered it but I suspect that Zavvi got told off by Eureka when they started seeing posts on bluray.com about it. I reckon it was meant to be a surprise announcement for Monday since it's Halloween then.

Zavvi usually stick 'sold out' on steelbooks until nearer the releases date.
They're arseholes.

I'm liking the fact Sony are starting to licence out their lesser known films to smaller distributors. This will certainly give labels like Eureka and Powerhouse the chance to make decent quality Blu-Rays that may even surpass Sony's own stuff.

There are quite a few back catalogue titles tied up with Sony that might finally see the light of day.

Blind Fury with Rutger Hauer is one I've suggested to various labels. Love to see that one, I don't think it's had a UK release since vhs. Stuart Gordon's Fortress is another that's still waiting for a blu. Knight Moves with Christopher Lambert is another I believe Sony have under their belt.
