I wouldn't have thought so as the Scream will be the US release version.

All previous UK releases have been cut for animal violence (although it's pretty clear the raccoon is fake for most of the scene). It doesn't look like Eureka have resubmitted to the BBFC. It could be that they are not aware of mandatory cuts and will just port over the Scream release but I wouldn't bet on it.

I have it on dvd (US release) I thought it was a little disappointing in comparison to it's brilliant poster back in the rental days.

After watching the trailer scream factory have on youtube it seems more appealing than the one 101 put up maybe its the old trailer guys voice and the lack of any shots from the actual film that create suspense

you can see it here

The raccoon is put under duress with the canoe paddle and I certainly don't condone that but the parts where it is thrown around are clearly faked. I'm sure it came out of it pretty unscathed though obviously a little vexed.

However, viewing it again I don't suppose a cut version has lost much and I wouldn't put off people with a low tolerance for this sort of stuff; it's just my OCD that prevents me from having a cut version in my collection.

EDIT: I've seen some claims the shots of the raccoon writhing on the floor were done with an animal that was deliberately poisoned... I don't know if that is true or not?
