Do you think there's any chance BFI Flipside may release The Vault of Horror ('73) on BD/DVD? Seeing as the BFI are responsible for restoring the version that occasionally shows up on Film4.

Doesn't sound like the kind of straight genre fare they would put out. Need a bit of social commentary or kitchen sink drama in there . . .

If they release it, they'll probably just do it under their standard BFI label, rather than as a Flipside. As you say, the Flipside releases tend to cater more for films possessing some sort of social commentary.

I'm yet to pick up the 5 disc version, so this is good news for me, but highly irratating I'm sure for those that bought this a year ago. It's like when bands rerelease albums with a bonus track, just in time for Xmas!

This looks good but already got too much preordered for October and 40 is a bit much, but will probably pick it up near Christmas
