The first (and only) time I watched the 1954 version of Godzilla I wasn't a fan. I have been meaning to give it another go at some point though.

Don't forget that there are two versions of the original Godzilla There is the 1954 Japanese version, 'Gojira', which was then re-edited, re-cut, partly re-filmed and released in America in 1955 as 'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters'. A lot of the Japanese footage was removed, and an entire plot featuring Raymond Burr was added

How weird. I was only reading about this the other day as i was checking out the profiles for the cast of Robin of Sherwood which i've now seen two of the three series, as Clive Mantle (Little John) is in this. I too will be blind buying The Orchard End Murder. |
