Released on October 29th, and available as a pre-order direct from Vinegar Syndrome ($24.99) - 'Beyond The Door III'

"Shy American college coed, Beverly Putnic, has been invited to go on a class trip to a remote part of Yugoslavia to witness and take part in an ancient cultural rite. But what Beverly doesn't know is that she's actually being lured to Europe in order to be made the bride of Satan! Narrowly escaping from the clutches of a witch, Beverly and her classmates take refuge on a train. Unfortunately, black magic meets them at every turn as the train becomes possessed and begins offing them one by one.

From the truly unhinged mind's of maverick exploitation producer Ovidio Assonitis (Beyond the Door, The Visitor) and writer-director Jeff Kwitny (Iced), BEYOND THE DOOR 3 (originally known as AMOK TRAIN) is an exploitation roller-coaster that never stops one-upping its own insanity. Chock full of completely outrageous gore effects, bizarre and often surreal plot twists, and a wholly whacked out ending, Vinegar Syndrome is elated to present the world Blu-ray debut of this notorious slice of Euro-horror in a brand new 4K restoration of its original negative."

Released on October 29th, and available as a pre-order direct from Vinegar Syndrome ($59.99) - 'Amityville: The Cursed Collection'

"One of the most popular horror franchises of the 80s and 90s, THE AMITYVILLE HORROR series was given new life by producer Steve White who moved the narrative from dreary Long Island to sunny California, with his four ‘cursed objects' themed installments, collected here on home video for the very first time in Amityville: The Cursed Collection!"

--

THE EVIL ESCAPES:
"The Evans children have just suffered the untimely death of their beloved father. Moving, along with their mother, into their grandmother's gothic seaside mansion they soon become hosts to an uninvited guest, in the form of a mysterious lamp which, unknown to them, is possessed by the demonic forces which once resided in the Amityville house. As unexplained, and increasingly violent, events start occurring in and around the property, Jessica, the youngest member of the household, begins to believe that her father has secretly returned. Unfortunately, it's actually a demon taking on his likeness ready to terrorize and kill anyone and everyone in order to be fully reborn in human form.

The first of the four ‘cursed objects' films in the Amityville franchise, and the only one directed by Sandor Stern, who wrote the 1979 original, AMITYVILLE: THE EVIL ESCAPES combines domestic drama and supernatural horror as it twists its way towards a shocking conclusion, Vinegar Syndrome presents AMITYVILLE: THE EVIL ESCAPES on Blu-ray for the first time, in a new 4K restoration of its original negative."

IT'S ABOUT TIME:
"Jacob Sterling, an architect, has just returned from his latest business trip with a surprise: an ornate clock he got out of a soon-to-be-demolished house in Amityville. With the clock newly placed on Sterling’s mantel, he and his family begin to change, ever so slightly at first, into something evil...and very deadly. And soon a malevolent force starts to make its presence known throughout the quiet, suburban community; winding its gears to bring about a seemingly unstoppable demonic force.

The darkest and most twisted of the ‘cursed object' Amityville films, AMITYVILLE: IT'S ABOUT TIME (also known as AMITYVILLE: 1992) plunges the viewer head first into a labyrinthian nightmare of gory body horror, set against the facade of happy suburban living, where everything is more sinister than it seems. Directed by Tony Randel (Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Ticks) and starring Stephan Macht (Graveyard Shift), AMITYVILLE: IT'S ABOUT TIME is arguably the highlight of the 90s entries in the series and comes to Blu-ray from Vinegar Syndrome newly restored in 4K from its original negative."

A NEW GENERATION:
"Keyes is a successful photographer who lives at the border of Skid Row. While walking home one day, he notices a homeless man with a strange old mirror. Immediately struck by it for reasons he cannot explain, Keyes convinces the man to sell it to him. However, the mirror seems to have a strange effect on all those who look at it, and Keys himself becomes more and more erratic, all the while unaware that an evil force lurking behind the glass is taking control of him; leading him into a terrifying and violent new reality.

Set against the beginnings of gentrification in LA’s notorious Skid Row, John Murlowski’s AMITYVILLE: A NEW GENERATION blends neon-tinged lighting and hefty bloodshed in this distinctly early 90s flavored entry in the franchise. Starring Ross Partridge (Stranger Things), Julia Nickson (Babylon 5) and David Naughton (An America Werewolf in London), plus photographed by Academy Award winner Wally Pfister (The Dark Knight, Inception), Vinegar Syndrome brings AMITYVILLE: A NEW GENERATION to Blu-Ray in a new 4K restoration of its original camera negative."

DOLLHOUSE:
"Bill Martin has just finished construction on a new home for his family. But unknown to him, the previously barren property was the site of the infamous Amityville murder house. After finding a small shed on the grounds, Bill discovers a beautiful and ornate dollhouse, which he gives to his daughter as a present. What he doesn't realize is that this children's plaything contains demonic powers, and it's not long before ghouls and zombies are invading his home, with their murderous sites set on his family.

The last and most absurd of the 90s Amityville films, franchise producer Steve White steps into the director's seat to helm this completely bonkers and entertaining direct to video horror classic. Starring Robin Thomas (About Last Night) and photographed by Tom Callaway (Demon Wind), Vinegar Syndrome brings AMITYVILLE DOLLHOUSE to Blu-ray in a new 4K restoration."

Released on October 29th, and available as a pre-order direct from Vinegar Syndrome ($24.99) - 'Berserker'

"A group of friends have set out on a camping trip in a rural part of Utah. Although warned by kindly Norwegian immigrant, Pappy Nyquist (George ‘Buck’ Flowers), of a series of recent killings, supposedly the result of a bear, the campers are undeterred and decide to spend the night outdoors, getting drunk and sharing stories of berserkers, ruthlessly violent viking warriors who wore bear skins and snouts. Not long after pairing off for romantic escapades, they find themselves terrorized and ripped apart by a large and violent bear...but is it actually a bear, or perhaps a real life berserker who has somehow been transported to the 20th century...

An atmospheric and suspenseful slasher, punctuated by moments of shocking violence and brutality, Jefferson Richard's (Maniac Cop, Get Carter) BERSERKER features expressionistic cinematography by Henning Schellerup (Silent Night Deadly Night, The Boogens) and striking editing from Marcus Manton (Pumpkinhead, Breakin' 2). Vinegar Syndrome proudly presents the world disc premier of BERSERKER, newly restored from its long lost original camera negative."

Directed by: Jefferson Richard

Released on October 29th, and available as a pre-order direct from Vinegar Syndrome ($24.99) - 'Unmasked Part 25'

"Jackson (Gregory Cox) is your run-of-the-mill, hockey mask wearing psychotic killer. Hideously deformed, he spends his time stalking and brutally murdering over-sexed young people, in a variety of nasty methods. But then he meets Shelly (Fiona Evans), a young blind woman who appreciates him as a person (it helps that she can't see the carnage he leaves at every turn). Finding himself falling in love for the first time, Jackson decides that it might be time to finally hang up his cutlery and settle into a happy life of domestic bliss. But can he really overcome his bloodthirsty impulses?

A biting horror-comedy from director Anders Palm and producer Mark Cutforth, UNMASKED PT. 25 (aka HANDS OF DEATH) cleverly plays off of every 80s horror cliche (along with satirizing a number of indie film tropes, for good measure), while reveling in some of the most gruesome gore effects which can be found in a post-nasties British made film. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to rescue this under-seen cult classic and bring it to Blu-ray for the first time."

Directed by: Anders Palm
Starring: Gregory Cox, Fiona Evans, Edward Brayshaw, Debbie Lee London

A nice slate of upcoming releases.

Unmasked: Part 25 is an absolute gem. Really looking forward to revisiting that one.

Never heard of it personally.

Of those releases, the Amityville films are a waste of time, Berserker's a pretty average slasher... there's only Beyond the Door III that's of initial interest.
