I love this one too - seen it stacks of times. Isn't it owned by Warner now, though? Pretty sure all the Largo titles that were previously owned by Fox and Universal became part of the WB catalogue after the major acquired Intermedia.

I think you're right Paul, I know Timecop, Dr Giggles, Point Break and the remake of The Getaway (still waiting on a BD!), all went to Warner.

Count me as another fan of The Getaway remake too.

Warner announced a Blu-ray double bill of the '72 and '94 two or three years ago but it never happened. I still have the unrated Universal DVD and it's not going anywhere until a Blu-ray surfaces.

Would you believe I sold my unrated dvd when that double feature was announced.

I don't blame you, they were becoming increasingly valuable a couple of years before that. I had it and flogged it. I fancied watching it again and bought another copy in 2008/2009 and it set me back more than £15 all in from a US seller then. Like I said, it's going nowhere now.

Great film, another one I'd love on Blu. I hope that if Warner own the rights they'll get around to it at some point.

I assumed it was still with Universal but I guess you're right. Shame as I don't think this title is on WB's radar but you never know.

Just announced on Facebook, the following is directly copied from their page, see if anyone can spot the massive error

SURPRISE TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Ready to cruise back to the 60s? We are! The 1965 shocker DIE, MONSTER, DIE! (starring Frankenstein himself, Bela Legosi) will be coming to Blu-ray for the first time from us in the early part of 2014. No other details to report at this time.

Check out the artwork, which uses the original theatrical poster art--that we always find groovy.

Bela Lugosi only played Frankenstein's monster, not the doctor himself.

Oh, hold on...

Not only did Lugosi not play Frankenstein (only the monster) he also fails to turn up in Die, Monster, Die.
