It's mediocre at best. Shame it gets a blu-ray though when other films imo, are more deserving.

You surprise me.

However thats the beauty of film.

Saturn 3 is another release thats been crying out for a great transfer. So well done SF.

I think I'm more surprised at the thinking behind what to release on dvd and BD. If it isn't down to the available materials, but rather what SF thinks will sell on BD, surely Exterminator 2 is a safer bet than Eve Of Destruction. And if I recall, in an interview Cliff Macmillan gave a while back, he said that MGM had a really nice HD master

It will be announced in a few months probably. SF will wait until we have all bought the four film dvd set then exploit us for an upgrade.

See Arrow and Django Prepare a Coffin for reference.

The Django Prepare A Coffin thing was odd. I can only assume they'd got access to an HD master after the AD DVD was released. Surely they'd have benefitted more from releasing it as a dual format release as that seems to be their main priority at the minute.

Everytime I hear this, I think something isn't quite right about what Cliff said.

Scorpion Releasing have said that they made quite a large offer for it, but the liscensor wants too much for it, so to have Scream say they turned it down, would either have to mean they turned down the oppurtunity because it cost too much, or turned down an offer or something along those lines.
