So glad I am having it delivered to the post office down the road as I am working. Don't want that left in the rain outside the door.
I wouldn’t mind as much but lately they don’t even knock to see if you’re in just leave the parcel at the door, we got a parcel delivered today and if it wasn’t for the dog barking I wouldn’t have known .

Makes me feel lucky that I live in an apartment with a reception/concierge, they take all of our packages so you never have to think about being home.

There was a time not long ago, when you weren't in a red card was posted and you picked it up or had it redelivered. I have had some big size books just left outside the door all day.

I can only presume it’s all down to the courier and all to do with saving time because amount of parcels you have to deliver.

I don't know if it's common knowledge, but there is a note attached to the 'Document Of The Dead' feature on DVDCompare:

"Mislabeled as the "original cut", this is actually the 1998 cut which trimmed material from the 1989 expanded video cut (it runs close to the length of the 1989 version because the deleted footage is included at the end in a supplementary section seemingly copied directly from the Synapse DVD"

GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a number of versions:
- the original 1979 16mm version (66 minutes) intended as a teaching film about independent filmmaking;
- the 1989 version (92 minutes) featuring new camcorder footage from the set of Two Evil Eyes;
- the 1998 "special edition" (84 minutes) featured on the Synapse release that trimmed roughly seven minutes from the 1989 version;
- the 2012 “definitive” version (102 minutes) intended to document both the film and its influence on Romero’s subsequent work and popular culture.

They tweeted that they mistakenly said it was the original version on the listed extras when it was the special edition version and the extended version. To be fair though, why does a behind the scenes doc need 4 versions

So, today I get a message that my Dawn Of The Dead from Amazon has been delivered to the local post office.
So I go down after work. Nothing there.
So now it's being investigated and I have to wait a couple of days to find out what is going on.

I watched the theatrical version last night.
It looks and sounds amazing!

Glad I bought it now!
