It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the Criterion Collection release. If it has far superior picture and sound and some new extra features, it'll probably be the fourth copy in my collection!

Dawn was pretty heavily cut on VHS, I think the current edition was on budget label 4front with the horrible gold framed cover art. So I skipped it and watched this before seeing any of the other films...

Then I went on a family holiday to Orlando and came back with the Anchor Bay VHS from a shopping trip to Mall of America. We might complain about artwork used on covers for these blurays that come out now but in the 90s we had some bloody awful options...

Same here, I remember all of those and the Document of the Dead vhs. I also gad Day on EIV label (I think), cut of course.

I watched the trilogy obsessively when i was a teenager!

Just watching the Criterion NOTLD & wondered what people think is the best version of Night to have? I have Criterion bd, Elite dvd & optimum (I think) uk blu.

Criterion is very much the winner. btw The Optimum blu-ray was strangely heavily cropped or zoomed in at certain times.

Night of the Living Dead is my fave film of all time. Watching the Criterion edition now, remembering watching the Elite laserdisc with my brother (RIP) in the 90's.

Got Dawn out to watch either later tonight or tomorrow.

I respectfully disagree about the 4 Front Video gold covers, I like them and it does give me those warm nostalgic memories from the 90's

I definitely agree with that hideous neon cover
