In just the first few minutes of the film, we get the first visual joke as SMPTE colour bars slowly peel away to reveal a naked woman lounging on a couch. Aware that some omniscient force is exposing her nudism, she tries to hide behind the disappearing bars. In rare exploitation form, DR. CALIGARI maintains its wild and intoxicating energy throughout, pulling the audience deep into its erotic nightmare world, in an experience not soon to be forgotten"

THE YEAR IS ALMOST OVER! And what a year it was for us. Our biggest yet. But the thing is ... 2022 will probably be EVEN BIGGER!

Also, we can confirm what many have speculated about. DR CALIGARI, which was announced some months ago when our 4K restoration played at the Fantasia Fest, will be our first ever UHD release! Expect a deluxe UHD/BD combo release sometime later in the year

"A series of murders is being committed. Both men and women are victims of a mystery assassin. The police think it is the work of a serial killer. The coroner is not sure it is so simple. He has been studying the case and has discovered that for nearly a hundred years in the same district people have been killed in the same way and according to a very distinct time pattern.

To the astonishment of the investigating officer, the coroner says he believes the killings to be the work of a supernatural creature - a vampire.

Soon a stranger arrives in the area, claiming to be the sole descendent of the long dead baron who was believed to be a vampire. He accompanies the police into the burial vaults of the ancient castle, where a dreadful sight awaits them.

Back when they only released DVDs I would buy them from either Amazon UK or Ebay. When they started releasing Blu-rays I started getting them from WowHD. When WowHD's prices increased significantly I started buying direct from Mondo Macabro during sales.

Those three are numbered editions, you can only buy them directly. If normal editions come afterwards you can get them on WowHD and other retailers.
