The most shocking and controversial work by director Tinto Brass (Caligula; Black Angel) is about to be revealed in glorious High Definition for the first time in the UK with the release of Salon Kitty on Blu-ray. A serious, unflinching depiction of moral decay within the Nazi Party at the time of World War II and of how power ultimately leads to corruption, the film has now been newly transferred and fully restored in HD from the Brass’ own personal vault materials and comes presented in its original widescreen format, completely uncensored and featuring 21 minutes of previously cut footage.

Based on actual events, the story takes place in Berlin, in 1939, at the start of World War II. SS Officer Helmut Wallenburg (Helmut Berger) is instructed by his superiors to set up an elite brothel, the eponymous Salon Kitty, especially designed to serve high-ranking Nazi officials and foreign diplomats. In order to cater to the clients' darkest perversions and desires sufficiently, Wallenburg is also charged with finding and rigorously training twenty beautiful and intelligent women, who are not only dedicated to the ideals of National Socialism but are also prepared to perform the most extreme acts of debauchery imaginable. What these prostitutes and their customers don't know is that the brothel is bugged and is being used to collect intelligence and to monitor the clients' loyalty to the Nazi Party and its cause. Wallenburg exploits his position, feeding his insatiable need to dominate and using the information he receives to blackmail his way to the top.

Meanwhile, one of the prostitutes, Marguerite (Teresa Ann Savoy), discovers the truth about the brothel when a soldier she loves is executed for revealing to her his plans to defect from the Party. With the help of the brothel's madam, Kitty (Ingrid Thulin), Marguerite plots to turn the tables on Wallenburg and exact her revenge.

As well as boasting superb performances by Helmut Berger (The Godfather Part III; The Damned) and Ingrid Thulin (Cries And Whispers; The Damned; Wild Strawberries), ualso features beautiful cinematography and sumptuous sets that provide a stunning showcase for the work of two-time Oscar winning production designer Ken Adam (The Madness Of King George; Barry Lyndon), the man responsible for designing the incredible sets for the majority of the James Bond films.

The fully restored, uncensored Director's Cut of Salon Kitty (cert. 18) will be released on Blu-ray (£19.99) by Argent Films on 30th May 2011.

Ok here we go - I've finally figured out how to run this game - at last!

Carrying on from the last post, in order to not mention the war, this comp will be all about that! The rules are simple-ish.

You are all Nazis, heiling the comp fuher (me). And you want what every Nazi wants - world domination! :laugh: The only way to do that is by answering questions. However, you're all a bunch of incredibly selfish Nazis and rather than working together, you've decided to take your individual Nazi gangs and seperatly rule the world.

And here are the equally important rules, explained as best as I can...

1) You, a Nazi, starts in your home country or Nazi Germany - the big grey one labelled 'Home' :laugh:

2) Pick a country. Any country. Post the number of that below and then I'll PM you the question for that country. If you get it correct, you're Nazi stormtroppers will storm that country, invade it and claim it as your own. I'll then colour it in to match your legend - so it's much clearer.

Each country is worth a different amount depending on it's lameness. This can be seen in the legend at the bottom. Everyone starts with 1,000 Nazis no matter what country you claim first though.

3) Now that country is yours, you better defend it. PM me a question -related to film. Don't make it stupid or crap.

4) But you don't just want to rule one measly little country - especially if it's France. Oh no, you want and must rule the entire world! This gives you two options:

i) Pick a neutral country (a green one). I'll PM you a question for that country. If you get it correct you'll also win that country and gain how ever much that's worth. The country will be then coloured in to match your legend and your amount of Nazi's rise - dont ask how they just do - reproduce with the locals or something. If you get it WRONG however you loose however many Nazi's the country is worth and don't invade.

ii) OR invade a country already ruled by another Nazi. Say the number of that country and I'll PM you a question they have created to defend their country. Get it right, you invade that country, its changes colour and you get the mentioned number of Nazis added - they loose the country and lose that amount of Nazis. If you get it WRONG, they gain however many Nazis the country is worth.

5) If you ever run out of Nazi's you get sent back to the Home land and have to start from step 1 again.

6) Next sunday, I'll blow the world upp and finish the lot of you. The three people to have gotten the most countries under their control - wins Salon Kitty!
