Default Weekly Comp - The New York Ripper Yellow-Ray - 26/06/2011 - FINISHED & SENT

Hello everyone,

First off let me say how sorry I am for such a late start to this competition. I'm currently at home for the week with the single crapest internet connection ever in the history of the entire world. FACT. That kinda buggers this week's comp up quite a bit. Not only is it a little late, but it'll be incredibly simple and I'm afraid it wont look quite as sexy as it normally does with pictures and...stuff.

Anyways, I'm sure you are all familiar with Lucio Fulci's The New York Ripper. Well to celebrate the Shameless release of the film - the first ever Shameless Blu-Ray, I'm giving away 3 copies of the film for you to win, because I'm generous like that. It's the way I roll.

How do you win? Well it really couldn't be simpler - a HUGE difference compared to last weeks ( mwahaha).

It's a game of This or That (the complete opposite of Which is worse...). Simply answer the question above you, then post your own. Easy freakin' peasy!

So for instance, one person could post "Judas Priest or Lady Gaga?"

The next person would then answer what they prefer, obviously "Judas Priest" (!) and then say something like "Nunsploitation or Naziploitation"

It's a really stupid idea and incredibly easy - but it's seriously because of the connection.

Whoever takes part this week will be put into a random draw on sunday and three names will be randomly selected to win. Remember this is the blu-ray, not the dvd!

AND THAT'S NOT IT! Quite a while ago I ran a competition with a prize where the winner would not only be rewarded with the prize but also a chance to run the next week's competition! It went really well, so I think it's time I did that again. So, the person to be randomly selected will not only win NYR but can run next week's competition (with my help if needed of course)! Horray!

So, to kick this off....

"Fulci or Argento?"

Kyle

Technically zombies are vampires, but if forced to pick, I'd go with vampires. They both want to eat you, but at least your quality of life is better after you've been bitten by a vampire.

Bad Taste or Braindead?

Interesting, I would have said that opposite, that technically vampires are zombies. Zombies covers all kinds of reanimated corpses - flesh-eating or otherwise, but vampires are very specific in their habits. A subset, if you will! But you know what I meant for the purposes of this comp!

Sorry - BACK ON TOPIC!!!

Easy one. Subtitled (foreign films) for sure. The best in the world

John Carpenter or David Cronenberg?

Difficult. I'd choose Carpenter, though. Halloween has the same importance for the Slasher genre as Psycho has for the modern Thriller.

Let's split up the Grindhouse:

Planet Terror or Death Proof?

Greetings!
