Default Christmas Comp #9 - Frankenstein's Army - FINISHED

Hi everyone,

Let's crack on with another Christmas Competition! Today we're giving away one of the greatest horror movies from 2013, the totally bonkers but completely awesome...

FRANKENSTEIN'S ARMY

"Nothing short of amazing" - 4 stars
- Bloody Disgusting

An insanely suspenseful and sinister game-changer for the Nazi horror genre!

With a wealth of teeth-chattering scares and blood-curdling gore, Frankenstein’s Army unearths the true horrors of World War II with an electrifying twist! “Dead Snow” meets “Outpost” by way of “Silent Hill”!

Key talent:

Director Richard Raaphorst and Executive Producer Badie Ali (The Innkeepers; Stake Land) and stars Karel Roden (Hellboy; The Bourne Supremacy), Joshua Sasse (Rogue; The Big I Am), Luke Newberry (Anna Karenina; Quartet), Andrei Zayats (X-Men: First Class; Fast & Furious 6) and Mark Stevenson (Doctors; The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy).

Synopsis:

Whilst pushing into eastern Germany toward the end of World War II, Russian soldiers unearth a secret Nazi lab that has begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein's work to assemble an army of super soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades and a disturbing fuse of apparatus and machinery - a desperate Hitler's last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.

You'll Love It Because...

Frankenstein’s Army
is the next generation Nazi horror shocker. Abstaining from the time-honoured traditions of the typical found-footage horror, director Richard Raaphorst delivers a story that is the most fear-inducing and visually conquering horror of its kind since the nerve-jangling “Dead Snow”. With a truly disturbing character design reminiscent of Del Toro, Frankenstein’s Army firmly puts its own remarkable stamp on the horror warfare genre!

Hot Quotes:

“Genuinely imaginative and disturbing monster design” - Kim Newman, Empire

“It’s rare that a found-footage horror stands out these days, but Richard Raaphorst's debut does just that.” - SFX

“The best survival horror screen experience so far” 4 stars - Starburst Magazine

“Wonderfully designed creations reminiscent of Del Toro” 4 stars - Starburst Magazine

“The best Nazi zombie film since Dead Snow!” - Scream Magazine

“Slick, dark & gory!” - Scream Magazine

“A splatter-tastic descent into horror!” 4 stars - Box Office Buz

“Thrilling, chilling and ghoulishly entertaining” - Brutal As Hell

“Shockingly inventive, knowingly humorous and brilliantly bloody” - Dread Central

“Nothing short of amazing” 4 stars - Bloody Disgusting

Special Features:

- Trailer

- 30 Minute ‘Making Of’ Feature

FRANKENSTEIN'S ARMY is available on DVD 30th September 2013. Pre-order yours online today!

Jingle hells

Slashing people in the snow
In a one-horse open slay
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on scorpions sting
Making spirits fright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A slaying song tonight!

Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay
Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay

A slay or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon, Miss Fanny Head
Was seated by my side,
The horse was lean and stank
Misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a drifted bank
And then upset he got

Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay
Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay

A slay or two ago,
The story I must yell
I went out on the snow,
And on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by
In a one-horse open slay
He laughed as there I sprawling lie,
But quickly drove away.

Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay
Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay

Now the ground is blood red
Go it while you can
Slay the girls tonight
and sing this slaying song;
Just got a bobtailed cat
Two forty as his speed
Attach him to an open sleigh
And Whack then it shall bleed

Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay
Jingle hells jingle hells
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open slay

Christmas Murderer..

She came from behind with a knife.

I was scared for my life.

Christmas time was supposed to be full of cheer.

Except when you are running from fear

She told me to be quiet and go with the flow.

Otherwise I would be dealt with a fatal blow.

She became excited with my fearfulness.

And I noticed she was full of cheerfulness.

She wanted to play a game.

It was called who to blame.

I begged her not to end my life.

I told her that I would miss my wife.

I wished I would have seen my family one last time.

To tell them I love them and that I was fine.

She slit my throat and threw me in the boat.

I just realized that it was my ex-wife who was the killer.

I will never see Christmas or my family again.

She screamed Merry Christmas all and have a good fright.

You can sing along!

Merry Little Killing

Have yourself a merry little killing
Let your axe be light
From now on
our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little killing
Make the bastards pay
From now on
our troubles will be miles away

Here were are as in olden days
happy slaying days of yore
Faithful friends who are dead to us
gather near to us once more

In dead we all will be together
If the Fates allow
Hang a decapitated head upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little killing now.

Sithmas Time, Palpatine
Vader singing this one is mine
Ewoks on the fire, smoked out of a tree
A time to rejoice in the Empire for me

A taster for one of our songs for Saturday's show:

Snow is falling, all around me
Hoth Wampa's ripping off arms
Imperial Walkers standing on snow speeders
Merry Sithmas Everyone
