Competition - The Dead 2 - 7th July 2015 - FINISHED

Hi everyone,

If you're a big zombie nut (like myself), you'd know that The Dead was one of the greatest zombie films of recent years. A film that went back to the basics (while zombies got faster and faster in other movies) and delivered a creepy, yet gory critically acclaimed hit zombie flick. Amazing stuff (beautiful too!).

So, here's your chance to win the brand new sequel... and here's how...

You Could Win:

The Dead 2
On DVD from Monday 13th July 2015.

How To Win:

We have three copies of this DVD to give away! For your chance to win, all you need to do is -

Which film would be ideal for a sequel... with zombies? Simply let us know a (non-zombie) film that would either be seriously weird or terrifying if a sequel was made to it, with lots of flesh-eating zombies!

Give us a little info on the film too, with a fun title.

The three best answers will be selected early next week and rewarded with this great film.

Good luck!

Kyle

Zombie Flesh Eaters 2

By this I mean an actual direct sequal picking up with Ian Mculloch and Tisa Farrow arrving by boat in a zombie filled New York and having to find way out of the city.

This could be interesting as it could have a new angle with just one city overrun with zombies as unlike other films that have zombies popping up eveywhere at the same time, this could be limited to just one quarantined area as the zombie epidemic can be traced back to starting with the arrival of just one zombie from the first film.

I dont know maybe it wouldn't work and both leading characters would probably look too old now to pick this up directly after the first film, but that aside its a film I would love to have seen with an 80's New York overrun with arguably the best looking zombies ever put to film (zombie flesh eaters)

The Sound of Music

"The hills are quite dead to the sound of groaning..." need I say more? Oh, er, okay then...

The Von Trapps and Maria find themselves in Nazi zombie infested Bavaria during Oktoberfest and can't tell the difference between the walking dead and the staggering dead drunk! Cue much mistaken identity hilarity as they hack, bludgeon, shoot and grenade Bier Keller after Bier Keller!

The eX-Men: Magneto's Marching Dead

Magneto unleashes a deadly virus that kills off all of Professor X's beloved mutants, causing them to return as zombies under his control, Legendre style!

Clint Eastwood wakes up one morning to find his street empty and his car blood splattered. So he goes out to find the arsehole who did this and see's the street in overrun by zombie hoards. Hence he uses his car as a death machine Death Race 2000 / Carmageddon weapon.

Of Mice, Zombies and Men.

After Lenny dies, George has great remorse, buries him in a nearby Pet Semetary cough, the rest of the tale is taken up with him having to keep the big man from eating all and sundry ala ROTLD 3.

"Mallrats"

Jay and Silent Bob find themselves in the wrong mall after a particularly potent doobie and find themselves in the "Dawn of the Dead" shopping centre! Much hilarity ensues as they try to find a comic book store that doesn't have a trail of semi digested entrails over the counter. Their alter-egos, Chronic and Bluntman, show imaginative uses of various kitchen utensils for dispatching zombies and smoking whacky baccy.:bananapair:

The English Patient Zero.

Ralph Fiennes plays a horribly disfigured Englishman who relates a tale of lost love, science gone awry and desperate survival to a hardened gun toting survivor who in turn is discovering burgeoning love with an Indian soldier in a cave some place. It emerges the mysterious patient was a chemist who released a deadly virus that caused a global pandemic of flesh-eating zombies while engaged in a passionate love affair with some Toffs wife. Ultimately the love was doomed and he ended up getting his face chewed off trying to rescue her. Cue Oscars.
