Loops, once again we're going to have to agree to disagree. PoD was no classic but as a genre film I think it more than makes the grade. I guess you don't hold a lot of affection for '80s Italian horror films.

Oh and Torso is a classic. I can't comment on the quality of Shameless' release because I don't have it, but the film itself is one of the very best Giallos going in my opinion.
I love 80's italian horror, but PoD is crap.

Out of interest, which ones do you like?

Re, Donald Pleasence. Some people I speak to only remember his more eccentric roles, I think The Great Escape showed just how versatile he was. Someone else (was it reaps?) said it was a "moving performance", damn right!

How have we gone from PoD to The Great Escape?

All good films those apart from RATS - a film I'm yet to warm to. What's your opinion on Nothing Underneath and Spider Labyrinth?

And I still haven't forgiven you for calling Photo Of Gioia "a load of shit". That's sacrilege!

Never seen Nothing Underneath ( which is on my 'to buy' list ) or Spider Labyrinth. The only good thing about Photos of Gioia is that its better than Demons 2 and Graveyard Disturbance.

This film is good fun. It really makes me want to see Body Count released by Shameless!

RATS seems to be one of those movies that polarizes fans... and one that can cause wars between the good people at AV Maniacs when mentioned.
