Officer Knox
 

Can anyone help please...

Iv recently become somewhat obsessed (sad i know) with Officer Knox aka Officer Sue Meadows. I get all giddy when she makes an appearance :crazy::crazy:

However, she never spoke throughout the series...not once...and the actress was never credited.

so i just wondered if anyone knew anything about this mysterious and enchanting woman. her first appearance/last appearance, actress's name etc..

I wouldn't call your obsession sad, I would call it interesting though, lol. I have a weird liking for Officer Bailey (another Sue)....I am so sad that she never got a bigger role but she did at least get to talk and take a beating from Hazel Kent, lol.

yeh i liked officer Bailey too.. i think its pretty disappointing how they never made full use of some of the background characters. Colleen and Joyce were originally background characters until they made it into the main cast list, so such a shame Officers Knox, Barfield, Radcliffe and Bailey didn't follow suit...

Yes, definitely...and wasn't it odd that officer Barfield went hundreds of episodes before she got to say even one word? LOL.

is it definitely not Kate Fell?

yeh Robert, kate fell played the first officer barfield. officer knox was also played by 2 actresses. in the early episodes the role was alternated between a short woman and a tall woman, but the tall woman who appeared as miss knox up into the ep 400s is the 1 i am curious about :)
