Ratman

Thanks to "Shameless", this finally found its way on DVD and watching it after reading so much about how trashy it's supposed to be, I was pleasently surprised that "Ratman" fares rather solid compared to howlfests like "After Death".
Still, there are at least two moments to cherish for bad movie fans: THAT toilet scene and a very "Nightmare City"-esque ending.
Warbeck certainly doesn't sound like Warbeck on the English audio track, which kind of surprised me at first, since he even delibered his own lines in the godawful "Fatal Frames", but that only adds to the somewhat weird feel of the flick.
That "Ratman" creature itself has to be seen to be believed and here and there are some routine "suspense" moments, which work rather fine.
Not quite the laughfest you might be hoping for, but a well enough watch with the right frame of mind OR in the company of likeminded pals.

Still waiting on Ratman being delivered from HMV but did manage to pop into the local'ish store and pick up Killer Nun and New York Ripper,so when Ratman eventually does arrive, thats me bang up to date with the releases and not getting annoyed at the untidy spine on my shelf

Watched this last night with my house-mate! He passed out after watching the shower scene (hilariously, he fell asleep grabbing his jewels!)

I myself, loved it... but it's oh, so bad! lol

Well I've reviewed it in my review thread, I didn't read this thread before because I don't like to read reviews or comments on a movie before watching it in case they influence me, but glad quite a few others enjoyed it.

I broke my Shameless virginity last night by watching Ratman. I love the intro on the discs and watching those trailers reminded me of back in 90s with my VIPCO tapes, good stuff. Very happy with my purchase I find the covers and overall effort that goes into the packaging to be very satisfactory. The PQ was also better than I expected for Ratman.
