Default Ryno Vs Davo

You see, I like Reyno, and I like Davo, but which is better? There's only one way to find out.....

I love Davo's Lady Penelope like performance. It's hilarious for all the wrong reasons, but Reyno (and Gerda) seemed to bring more dignity to the role of Governor.

After watching it again I too thought that Erica comes across as a cross between the Queen/Lady Penelope. I wonder what ladies finishing school she went to?

I love Erica as a character but my favourite Governor has to be Ann Reynolds, I think she was never less than excellantly played by the late Gerda Nicolson. I found her to be a totally believable and well developed character, especially towards the end of the series when she finally began to change Wentworth for the better.

Having said that, her hair style was NOTHING on Queen Erica's!

Very well if I had to choose it would have to be Davo. I loved her relationship with Doreen, Lizzie and Judy. She really did care about those 3 inmates in particular. To this day I always see Vivianne Westwood when I watch Erica on the screen..... It's something to do with the teeth and smile.

Ann without a doubt, I preferred everything about her over Erica.

Definitely Queen Erica for me - you can't have too many "very well"s for my liking.

Patsy King is a legend for mastering the pages and pages of dialogue they gave her
